Flood Tuber v1.1.0 is Now Available!

Hey everyone!

Version v1.1.0 of FloodTuber is live!

Changelog for v1.1.0:

Can you add an option to let GIF files restart from the very first frame every single time they appear? It is very frustrating to have my custom hand-drawn blinking animation start at a random point in the middle of the motion rather than starting from the beginning.

There's an even worse situation for animations that are NOT designed to loop. For example, my 'talking' animation is a GIF that acts as a smooth transition between my idle pose and my talking pose. I set the GIF to play 'ONCE' so that after showing the transition it will hold on the talking pose indefinitely until there's a break in the audio. This doesn't work, because after playing once the GIF is stuck on the final frame forever and will never ever reset.

[RELEASE] Flood Tuber v1.2.0 is Now Available! (OBS Studio 33 Compatibility Update)

Hi everyone,

Flood Tuber v1.2.0 is officially live!

https://github.com/justflood/flood-tuber/releases#release-v1.2.0

A quick personal note from justflood: midterm season just hit me hard, and I’ll be completely buried in exams for the next month. However, I managed to carve out some time on Sunday to get this v1.2.0 compatibility release finished up for you all.

Seriously, huge thanks to everyone for keeping this project so alive and evolving while I'm stuck with university work!

Changelog [v1.2.0]

  • [OBS 33 Support] Updated image loading to use the new gs_image_file_ex API introduced in OBS Studio 33.0.0 (#12, #13).
  • [OBS 33 Support] Updated property buttons to obs_properties_add_button2 to resolve OBS 33 deprecation errors.
  • [Modern Plugin Packaging] Migrated installation directory to the official OBS Studio plugin path (C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins\flood-tuber) so the plugin is no longer flagged as a "Legacy Plugin" in OBS 33 (#3).
  • [Automatic Cleanup & Migration] The installer now automatically cleans up legacy files from C:\Program Files\obs-studio, and existing scenes using built-in avatars automatically migrate to the new ProgramData path without breaking.
  • [Localization] Added French (fr-FR) localization for plugin settings and UI.
Version Compatibility Note:
  • OBS Studio 33.0.0 and newer: Use v1.2.0 (this release).
  • OBS Studio 32.x and older: Please continue using v1.1.0.

Hi! Thanks so much for bringing this up. Could you share your experience on Discord, if you're still using this plugin? It would be cool to see an example of what's happening to you.
