may be doing a 24-hour stream soon and i'm trying to get a video (like an ident) to play every top of the hour. I've tried advanced scene switcher but i can't seem to get it to work specifically for my needs (or i am doing something wrong). any suggestions?
One way to do it would be to set up a video source like in the image below and then simply use a bot to turn the source off and back on instantly once per hour... Would that accomplish what you are looking for?
in that way i might have to start everything exactly at a certain point, otherwise, if the "bot" ends up turning the source on, it might play halfway in the video or just at a random point
Something like StreamerBot or FireBot or something where you can setup a trigger to OBS with websockets to disable/reenable the video triggering it to start. I apologize, I assumed the usage of a bot already. A lot of streamers already use them.
